Your work will directly shape a product that meets FDA standards for safety and efficacy.
Oh, and the title? We’ll match it to your experience—senior, principal, or staff engineer.
What You’ll Be Doing:
•Building Software: Write killer C++ and Python code for imaging systems on Linux.
•Processing Magic: Create and optimise algorithms for image acquisition, real-time processing, and visualisation.
•Integration: Work hand-in-hand with hardware engineers to make sure our systems work seamlessly.
•Optimisation: Push performance to its limits—whether it’s handling high-bandwidth streams or reducing latency.
•Research & Development: Stay ahead of the game by exploring new imaging technologies and techniques.
What You’ll Need
Must-Haves:
•Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in CS, EE, or a related field.
•Languages: C++ and Python area must.
•Imaging Expertise: Hands-on experience with OpenCV, VTK, ITK, and imaging hardware like cameras and OCT.
•Linux Proficiency: You know your way around real-time systems.
•GPU Knowledge: Comfortable with CUDA or OpenCL for image processing.
•Experience: 5+ years in imaging systems, from hardware integration to real-time software performance.
Nice-to-Haves:
•Familiarity with embedded systems.
•Understanding of UML/SysML.
•Strong grasp of multithreading, multiprocessing, and low-latency communication.
•Soft skills that make collaboration a breeze.
Bonus Points if You’ve Done Any of This:
•Worked in a clinical environment with imaging hardware.
•Tackled FDA-regulated product development.
Final Word
This isn’t just another engineering job—it’s a chance to make history. You’ll be part of a team that’s shaping the future of surgery.
So, if you’re ready to put your skills to work solving problems that really matter, we want to hear from you.
